Carers Support Scheme
for Medway & Swale

The Carers Support Scheme was set up in 1992 by Kent County Council
to give support, information and advice to those who are caring for an elderly relative or friend
who is suffering from a mental health condition such as confusion, dementia and other conditions.

The Carers Support Scheme aims to help relieve some of the stresses experienced by carers of older people who have mental health problems, including dementia.  We are dedicated to providing the best quality service possible, through support, information and liaison with other agencies.  The Carers Support Scheme has undertaken a commitment to provide the very highest standards to carers and to respect their views, wishes and cultural needs.
